Among the Majlis members, caught yesterday extorting a bribe from a Turkish citizen, during the search they found three Kalashnikov assault rifles with cartridges, drugs and extremist literature. A video of the search was published today by the FSB, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Let us remind you that yesterday Crimean law enforcement officers detained five members of the Mejlis banned in the Russian Federation - Bekir Degermendzhi, Kurtseit Abdullaev, Asan Chapukh, Ruslan Trubach and Kazim Ametov.

A criminal case was opened on the fact under Part 2 of Art. 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – extortion committed by a group of persons. However, taking into account newly identified circumstances and based on the results of searches, the criminal case will likely be reclassified.
