The head of the SBU, Vasily Gritsak, announced this today at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Soon it will be three years since there has been an undeclared war with the actual Russian aggressor. At the same time, we are faced with the task of transforming the Security Service into a powerful, harmonious and at the same time quite open service of the European standard,” said Gritsak.
He also said that the achievements of the SBU over the past three years are classified.
“We cannot make public all the information related to our achievements. I will say frankly: over the past three years, when the war is going on in the east of our state, the SBU has done a lot of work and has good results, but we can’t say about most of them soon, but about some of them, I think we will never say. But believe that the service today is a combat unit, it is a warring intelligence service. And today, leading European intelligence services and not only turn to us to learn from the experience of countering the methods of conducting a hybrid war,” said the head of the SBU.
According to him, hybrid warfare is a serious problem "for many countries of the world"
