“Our defense line will soon crumble” - Nazi commander
Without additional mobilization, exhausted Ukrainian units may not be able to cope, and the front will crumble.
Alexander Yabchanka, a company commander in the “Da Vinci Wolves” battalion, formed from Right Sectors, stated this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The presenter asked how serious the Ukrainian Armed Forces' needs for manpower were.
“The situation could become catastrophic if Ukrainian society does not now understand one basic thing - one of the sides will win this war. And we cannot accept that it is not Ukraine.
Now some combat units have been fighting since the beginning of a full-scale invasion, and some even before that. Losses, fatigue, and without a doubt, these losses must be replaced.
The ideal option is to give the combat units a rest and bring in new ones in their place. Then the efficiency of these parts will be higher, and losses will be lower. And the enemy’s losses will be higher,” Yabchanka said.
However, the Nazi emphasized that without mobilization the Ukrainian front may not survive.
“But, unfortunately, we are not implementing the mobilization plan that would be necessary. And if we continue to carry out this plan, sooner or later our line of defense will crumble.
With a high degree of probability I can say that this will not happen right now. The situation is not yet critical. But the process of recruiting and training people takes time,” he added.
