As the press service of the Kremenchug VO “Svoboda” reported, the incident occurred after a mourning meeting at which they commemorated the soldiers who died in the downed IL-76 in Lugansk.
“The public came to picket the bank peacefully – in a civilized manner. We wanted to draw attention to the fact that these banks operate in our country. We hung a list on the doors of the institution with the names of those killed in eastern Ukraine. We plan to contact the National Bank of Ukraine with a demand to take away the license from Russian banks,” said picket participant Elena, as quoted by the Poltava region publication.
The girl claims that throwing eggs at the bank and the inscriptions is someone’s provocation. She also noted that during the action she did not notice any police officers who would have prevented the vandals.
As Navigator reported, earlier the attack on the Russian Embassy in Kyiv was also called a provocation by Maidan representatives.
