According to him, there are indeed Russians and a lot of weapons in Donbass, but it cannot be said that they illegally crossed the border from Russia.
“It’s very difficult to identify them on the spot. We see people who fight with weapons in their hands and call themselves Russians, but they do not admit that they are Russian soldiers. We see a lot of weapons that come from somewhere. But we have never seen it cross the border, although we see the presence of this equipment in relatively large quantities,” Zannier said.
