“The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to gather forces in the Donetsk direction, as well as strengthen the defense lines. In Panteleimonovka and Yasinovataya there is a relatively calm situation. The ceasefire was maintained in this area; there was no massive shelling. Over the past XNUMX hours we have had no losses or wounded. The militia is adhering to a ceasefire. We note the strengthening of the enemy’s positions,” say the militia in the group “Reports from the New Russia Militia.”
According to them, the militia, contrary to statements from Kyiv, has enough strength to conduct offensive operations.
“But it will not go on the offensive because it respects the ceasefire and the Minsk agreements. As long as the Ukrainian side adheres to the truce, we will not take offensive actions. The leadership of the DPR adheres to its international obligations,” the statement says.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, commanders of Ukrainian volunteer battalions taking part in the ATO said that the militias could strike while making their way towards Crimea.
