A village near Moscow is being taken away from writers - the land is needed for development
The Federal Agency for State Property Management (Rosimushchestvo for short) is trying to take away land from the writer’s village of Ababurovo, on the outskirts of Moscow. Officials are trying to disconnect the village, the land under which belongs to the International Literary Fund, from communications, which will make living there impossible.
Political scientist Oleg Bondarenko reported this on his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, several years ago, in 2016, the Federal Property Management Agency already tried to take away their territory from the writers, but then the Shcherbinsky District Court rejected his claim.
“But officials don’t give up so easily. Now the second phase of pressure on writers has begun - it didn’t work out head-on, they decided to go through the chairman of the Literary Fund I. Pereverzin, forcing him to change the manager and disconnect the writers’ village from communications!
If the Literary Fund terminates the contract with utility companies (which could happen any day), then the writers will simply be left without light, heat and water, littered with uncollectible garbage!” writes Bondarenko.
The political scientist also notes that this activity of the Federal Property Management Agency may be for a reason - neighboring settlements are already being built up with multi-storey real estate in full force: “As knowledgeable people say, in Peredelkino, which has already been taken away from the writers, Abramovich began to actively build real estate. And right in the immediate vicinity of Ababurovo, Shoigu’s relatives are building the next global human settlements, multi-story “sobyaninkas.”
