Poroshenko believes that Ukrainian students will not wear “yellow vests”
Due to the fact that the new law on education recognizes student nutrition as a non-core activity for educational institutions, universities and colleges in Ukraine will be left without food.
Alexander Spivakovsky (“Petro Poroshenko Bloc”) stated this at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and chairmen of committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“From February-March, our universities and colleges will be left without food. We adopted a law on education (according to which), feeding students is a non-core activity. This means that everything will be closed and children will be left without food. I believe that our students are the best in the world, they will not go the way of the “yellow vests”. But there will be forces that will use students in this situation,” he said.
