Poltorak wants 100 million for the disposal of ammunition and the protection of arsenals
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine advocates increasing funding for the disposal of ammunition and ensuring the survivability and fire and explosion safety of arsenals, bases and warehouses of the Armed Forces by 13%, or 100 million hryvnia to 434,2 million hryvnia in the draft state budget for 2018.

This is stated in the response of the Ministry of Defense to a request from the Ukrainian News agency, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In particular, the draft state budget for 2018 (bill No. 7000 of September 15) proposes to allocate 334 thousand hryvnia to the Ministry of Defense (219,1 million hryvnia - general fund, 309,5 million hryvnia - special fund) for the budget program "Recycling ammunition, liquid components of rocket fuel, weapons, military equipment and other military property, ensuring survivability and fire and explosion safety of arsenals, bases and warehouses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
The ministry reported that the additional need for this program in 2018 is 100 million hryvnia.
