The speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on ATO issues, Andrey Lysenko, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports with reference to the department’s press service.

“Yesterday at about 20:45, one Ukrainian defender was killed as a result of shelling of our positions near Opytne. Also, as a result of enemy shelling near Kamenka, Opytny and Shyrokino, five servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were injured. All of them were promptly evacuated to hospitals, where they are receiving medical care,” Lysenko said.
