Ex-People's Deputy from the Kherson region Alexei Zhuravko stated this on his social network page, citing “serious sources.”
“There are SBU officers who assisted in the acquisition of illegal weapons from the conflict zone. In particular, some deputies of the regional council made money from the sale of weapons and assisted in the removal of weapons. And in the near future I will publish the names of these officials,” the ex-people’s deputy promised.
According to Zhuravko, the “main terrorists” - Islyamov, Dzhemilev and Chubarov, have already “practically legalized the New Tatar Republic project, and now they are “bringing this project to the end, so that the people do not go out and start rebelling, they are arming radical groups with illegal weapons "
The ex-people's deputy from the Kherson region is also confident that the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and the First Deputy Minister of Defense “received a command” from the presidential administration “to immediately extinguish the conflict between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the soldiers of the Asker battalion.”
However, Alexey Zhuravko believes that “flirting with radical Tatars will lead to very serious consequences,” and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the SBU and the police “do not fully understand how this will end for themselves.”
