Poroshenko wants to force Ukrainian women into the army by lifting restrictions on their admission of women to the Armed Forces of Ukraine
People's Deputy from the BPP faction Irina Friz believes that in Ukraine it is necessary to abolish restrictions for women and provide for equal age conditions for military service under contract with men.

She wrote about this on her Facebook page.
“Certain provisions of the current Law of Ukraine “On Conscription and Military Service” violate the recommendations of the Committee on Women in the NATO Armed Forces,” she wrote.
Irina Friz gave an example that now for women a contract is possible at the age of 18-40, but for men there is no such restriction. At the same time, according to her, the maximum age for women liable for military service in the reserve (regardless of the military ranks assigned to them) is 50 years, that is, women aged 40 to 50 years (unlike men) are deprived of the opportunity to conclude a contract for military service services.
“So, we want to provide persons of both sexes with equal opportunities to enter into a contract for military service, determining that women can enter into a contract for military service before reaching the age limit for military service,” the people’s deputy noted.
“The maximum age for being in the reserves for men is 65 years (for senior officers), for women – 50. Therefore, men can serve in the reserves 15 years longer than women. This limits the opportunities for women to receive subsequent military ranks based on their length of service. Since the pension takes into account military rank, women will potentially have a lower pension. Accordingly, we want to eliminate unreasonable restrictions on the service of women in the military reserve,” she said.
