Poroshenko wants to sink Ukrainian ships under the Crimean Bridge to block Russian ports
Ukrainian warships must expose themselves to Russian attack and go to the bottom in the Kerch Strait.
Aleksey Mushak, a member of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction in parliament, stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, the Ukrainian fleet must provoke Russia so that the ships are sunk by shots from the guns of its warships.
“Obviously, this must be an operation - both our ships will have to approach from one side and the other. And this will be a serious problem for Russia - bringing these ships to Azov. This will be a challenge for them... The height there is 33 meters, the spans are wide, and they need to move forward. Then they will have to sink all the ships there so that they don’t get through. And then not only the Ukrainian Azov ports will be blocked, it means that the Russian Azov ports will also be blocked. They are also there, for a second. We have to work, we have to do it through strength,” said Mushak.
Earlier, Russian political scientist Nikolai Platoshkin said that British intelligence, by analogy with the Skripal poisoning case, may go for a new dirty provocation against Russia by blowing up a ship in a Ukrainian port on the Sea of Azov.
And ex-commander of the Ukrainian Navy Sergei Gaiduk called for mining the Sea of Azovso that the “aggressor’s” ships do not reach the Ukrainian shores.
