Poroshenko boasts: We “bent over” Surkov!
Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladislav Surkov, allegedly, at the request of Kyiv, refused to use the names LPR and DPR in negotiations and in documents, agreeing to use the Kiev cliche ORDLO (certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions - author).
Former deputy head of the administration of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Konstantin Eliseev, stated this on the air of the Direct TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Eliseev, who was involved in the direction of foreign policy in the AP, assured that he was able to convince Surkov of the correctness of such terminology.
“I negotiated in the Normandy Format for four years, and my counterpart was Vladislav Surkov. Even I taught him not to use the words DPR and LPR in negotiations. I proved to him that this is impossible. And he always used ORDLO in his vocabulary,” Eliseev said.
