Poroshenko does not have enough time and money to ban Russian Internet resources
To completely ban Russian Internet services, Ukrainian providers need at least two years and a billion dollars. The head of the board of the Internet Association of Ukraine, Alexander Fedienko, stated this on TV channel 112.

According to him, we are talking about the purchase of new equipment and software by providers.
“This requires time so that operators and providers can re-equip their networks. Somewhere additionally install equipment and software that will self-filter those resources for which there is a court decision. In this case, it is the president's decision. Otherwise, we will be forced to cut out entire segments of the Russian Internet. If we are talking about the execution of the presidential decree, then this can be done after the decree is published and the operators are forced to implement it, unless another clarification or instruction comes from the presidential administration, if we are talking about further actions, then this will take a year “two or more, and within the framework of this state – a billion dollars,” Fedienko said.
