Poroshenko promises that the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will be fired by the Movnyuk inspector
If the Verkhovna Rada adopts a new language law, Ukraine will have the position of Commissioner for the Rights of Language Protection, who will have inspectors checking people for the right to use the state language.
People's Deputy from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc Borislav Rosenblat stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If you look at the law that we will have to consider on Thursday in the Verkhovna Rada, then seven new structures have been assembled there that will deal specifically with grammatical issues. Now, if a person holds a position and does not know grammar, he will not be fired by the people who elect him or not by the commission that appointed him, he will be fired by the Commissioner for the Rights of Language Protection.
And the Commissioner for Language Protection Rights will have 27 inspectors who will come and check this or that person’s right to use our Ukrainian language. That is, this law will have a socially dangerous configuration,” the people’s deputy said.
“Is there at least one person in the studio, both among the participants and among the audience, who believes that on the basis of ignorance of the Ukrainian language and absolutely terrible command of the language, Minister of Internal Affairs Avakov will be fired?” – the presenter of the program will ask and stated “zero hands”.
“If we pass the law, he will be fired,” Rosenblatt assured.
