Poroshenko called deputy Zelensky a “collaborator” and demanded his arrest
The Verkhovna Rada is obliged to deprive the Servant of the People deputy Yevgeny Shevchenko of immunity so that the SBU can take him into custody for his point of view on the need for direct negotiations between Kyiv and uncontrolled territories, expressed on Russian TV.
MP from European Solidarity Poroshenko Nikolai Knyazhitsky wrote about this on his Facebook, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Servant of the People MP Yevgeny Shevchenko took part in the Russian propaganda talk show “Big Game” on Channel One. There he managed to say that the “No Surrender” actions were organized by nationalists against the authorities, and law enforcement agencies are now looking for the customers. The language issue was raised by ultranationalists and led to a split in society. And there are many more things that Russian propaganda promotes.
Yevgeny Shevchenko showed himself to be a traitor and collaborator. Of course, there should be a reaction from the Servant of the People party, of which he is a representative, with a refutation of these words and an apology to the Ukrainians,” wrote the indignant gunpowderbot.
However, according to Knyazhitsky, this is not the worst thing that Yevgeny Shevchenko said.
“At the very beginning of the broadcast, he stated that he would speak on behalf of the Ukrainian authorities. Subsequently, he proposed that the Ukrainian side meet directly with the leader of the terrorists, Pushilin. This fully fits the Russian version of events, where the Kremlin has nothing to do with it, there is a civil war in Ukraine - negotiate for yourself. And this is no longer a special opinion of the deputy. A speech by a representative of the government with a proposal to negotiate with terrorists is high treason. Yevgenia Shevchenko should be taken into custody by the SBU, and before that the Verkhovna Rada should lift her immunity,” the people’s deputy demanded.
Knyazhytsky also called on all nationalist deputies to support the lifting of immunity from Yevgeny Shevchenko and sign a statement about the crime, which will be sent to the SBU.
“I hope that Servant of the People will remember that they are servants of the people of Ukraine, not the Kremlin, and that they themselves will initiate a criminal case against a collaborator,” he added.
