Poroshenko declared Donbass a “cancer” and wants to turn the region into Kosovo
The Ukrainian plan for the reintegration of Donbass and Crimea is possible only with the introduction of peacekeepers and the “Kosovo scenario”.
Former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko said this on air on the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine must recognize Crimea and part of Donbass as occupied territories and state in law how we are ready to take them back. This is the withdrawal of Russian troops, the disarmament of militants, the introduction of an international police mission monitoring this disarmament - this was the case in Kosovo, I was a minister and saw with my own eyes, after that at least a year of Ukrainian information and political resumption in these territories and in three years - please vote for the Verkhovna Rada and local councils. This is the Ukrainian plan for the reintegration of our territories, all other options will simply allow this cancer to expand further,” Lutsenko said.
At the same time, in Lvov they do not want the return of Donbass at all, fearing that it might "belch up blood."
