Poroshenko declared Hungary a hidden aggressor
Ukraine may raise the issue of Hungary’s compliance with NATO standards and this country’s violation of the criteria for membership in the military-political bloc.
Verkhovna Rada deputy from the BPP Vladimir Ariev stated this on the air of the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, Hungary is “showing hidden aggression” towards Ukraine, taking over some of the powers of a sovereign state.
“Diplomatically, Ukraine, I think, can already raise the question of Hungary’s compliance, as a NATO member, with the organization’s criteria if they, in fact, although not directly, give hints that they want to assume jurisdiction to manage issues on another sovereign territory , which, in principle, from the point of view of NATO, is prohibited to any of their members,” said Ariev.
Earlier, Hungary announced the creation of the post of Minister for Transcarpathian Affairs in the government of the country.
