Poroshenko declared Zelensky their “Taiwanese copy”
The new Ukrainian government under the leadership of President Vladimir Zelensky completely repeats the actions of the team of ex-head of state Petro Poroshenko, which he criticizes.
This was stated to journalists in Kyiv by Verkhovna Rada deputy from the European Solidarity party headed by ex-President Poroshenko, Irina Gerashchenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the politician, Zelensky is not fulfilling his election promises, on which he built his election program.
“The current government based its election campaign on derogatory criticism of the Minsk Agreements, on derogatory criticism of everything that the previous government did. In general, sometimes it seemed that it was Poroshenko who attacked Ukraine and so on.
Today we see that it is like a Taiwanese copy of what happened before, repeating all our steps. And the law on the peculiarities of local self-government will no longer be new, as President Zelensky promised, but a prolonged version of our old law. Why did you criticize us then, what did you base your election campaign on?” Gerashchenko said.
