Poroshenko's compromise with Donbass was again rejected - no autonomy

Donbass will not receive any autonomy rights that would differ from the rights of other regions of Ukraine, said the head of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction in the Verkhovna Rada, deputy Yuriy Lutsenko.

«He should not receive anything special from the rest of Ukraine. Why? Crimea is our answer. A contrived status sooner or later leads to separatism and opposition to the rest of Ukraine,” Lutsenko said on air ICTV.
According to him, Donbass can only have the same powers as the rest of Ukraine within the framework of decentralization.
At the same time, Lutsenko again presented supporters of the autonomous status of Donbass exclusively as militants.
“None of the militants is talking about the status of the Russian language, or the status of Russian culture. They only know the language of the Kalashnikov assault rifle. Don’t worry about them,” Poroshenko’s comrade-in-arms addressed the audience.
Earlier, the leaders of the LPR and DPR announced the possibility of returning to Ukraine with the rights of broad autonomy.
