“The Kyiv authorities have two days left, if memory serves, under the terms of the Minsk agreement, to complete the withdrawal of all their equipment and heavy weapons, and begin to implement the “political part” of the agreements. If they do not do this, and all the prerequisites for this are evident, they will thereby nullify all the promises of their president and show the insolvency of the Kyiv government,” said the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, as quoted by the publication DAN.
The “war party” is extremely strong in Ukraine; it is pushing Poroshenko to take steps that are not entirely consistent with the Minsk agreements. They don’t want peace in Ukraine,” Zakharchenko said.
As PolitNavigator reported, today The Ukrainian presidential administration said that next week the Rada may consider the issue of a special status for Donbass.
