Poroshenko has a plan “B”
The outgoing President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko plans to gain a foothold in the new Verkhovna Rada by introducing several political projects there, which can later be combined into a large faction.
Political scientist Yuri Romanenko stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They will start several columns, the remnants of the BPP will be rebranded, which Kononenko spoke about, but we understand that Kononenko is still a rebranding of the BPP. Vakarchuk, the second column will go. There will be new hope... The structures of Gryniv are promoting Vakarchuk in opinion polls and this is definitely plan B. This will really be a new wrapper of Poroshenko’s BPP, only with a European-Standfort face.
It also includes various niche projects, such as a la Smeshko, Groysman’s project and many other projects, with the help of which it will be possible to collect 226 votes and reformat the Cabinet of Ministers and Parliament into the main decision-making center, cutting off Zelensky as much as possible, thus mothballing the situation,” – Romanenko said.
