Poroshenko proposed populating depopulated Ukraine with Asians
Ukrainian political strategist Taras Berezovets, collaborating with the administration of President Poroshenko, proposed solving the problem of mass emigration of Ukrainian workers by importing guest workers from Asia and the CIS countries.

In Europe, according to his data, there are over 3,5 million. According to my data, there are much more people working in the EU countries - about 7 million citizens. If we add the USA and Asia here, we get about 2 million more citizens. In total, there are about 12 million Ukrainians working abroad,” the expert laments.
According to him, the problem is “growing like a snowball” and “it is no longer possible to stop the process.”
“Previously, one minibus brought relatives about 30-40 thousand euros in cash to Ukraine. Now the flow has dropped to 3-4 thousand euros per car. Why? There was no one to carry the money. People move with entire families, taking their children. Several families around me have already left in their entirety. The problem will most likely have to be solved using unpopular methods. By importing workers from the CIS countries and Southeast Asia,” Berezovets said.
Odessa journalist Yuri Tkachev criticized his idea in his blog, calling the political strategist unprofessional.
