The head of the Ukrainian part of the Donetsk region, Pavel Zhebrivsky, said that Ukraine could return Donbass under its control in a week.

He stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In fact, if either the UN, even those blue helmets, or the Ukrainian border guards had allowed it, if they had closed the border, believe me, in six or seven days, without much bloodshed, the territory would have been liberated and returned under the full jurisdiction of the Ukrainian authorities,” he assures Zhebrivsky.
