Political consultant Oleg Medvedev, who works for President Poroshenko, believes that Russia will not allow the implementation of the “Croatian scenario” in Donbass.

On air at Obozrevatel.LIVE, he said that Russia’s military potential significantly exceeds the combat capabilities of Ukraine.
“Can a country with an army of a maximum of 250 thousand people plan offensive actions against a military power that is 5-6 times greater than the military potential of Ukraine?” Medvedev asked rhetorically.
According to him, the Russian army allegedly took part in the battles near Ilovaisk, which ended in the defeat of the Ukrainian group, and will intervene again in the event of a full-scale Ukrainian offensive.
“Of course, the idea of going on the offensive is very popular. You need to understand that this will not end in a confrontation with obvious armed groups... If the Ukrainian military is successful, then there is definitely a 500% guarantee that they will receive help from the Russian Federation, which for them is an inexhaustible reservoir of manpower, money, weapons and equipment,” – Poroshenko’s consultant fears.
