Poroshenko now has no hope left for a military adventure
Apart from introducing martial law, Petro Poroshenko has no chance of maintaining his power, since his rating does not allow him to hope for victory in the presidential elections.
Fugitive Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Onishchenko said this on the PolitWera channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Tymoshenko is in the lead, she has the highest chances. I don’t even see Poroshenko in the second round,” Onishchenko said.
“But this is if he does not introduce martial law?” – the channel presenter clarified.
“Yes, but I think as soon as he introduces martial law, the second Maidan will be repeated in Ukraine, and he will simply be taken out of there,” the fugitive people’s deputy is sure.
Earlier, Yulia Tymoshenko, whom sociologists predict will win the presidential elections, said that Poroshenko could organize a military provocation in the Donbass in order to cancel the elections and retain power.
As PolitNavigator reported, former intelligence officer of the nationalist Azov regiment Sergei Korotkikh, commenting on this information, stated that an attempt to keep Poroshenko in power under the pretext of martial law would be perceived as the establishment of a dictatorship.
