Poroshenko is being demanded to urgently overthrow Lukashenko for the sake of a new Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth
The Belarusian Maidan activists must allegedly urgently overthrow President Alexander Lukashenko in order to build a new Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth or the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
Aleksey Goncharenko, deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, head of the inter-factional association “For Democratic Belarus”, stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Ukrainian politician called for a strike by Belarusian workers, emphasizing that Lukashenko must be overthrown in the next couple of weeks.
“All enterprises must stop; in general, everything that is possible must stop. That is, Lukashenko should have no choice at all, no choice at all what to do. The fact that the elites have already floated there - yesterday we saw that the ambassador to Slovakia, a former assistant to Lukashenko, will be the next. There are more to come, trust me. The main thing is to show them that the people are not stopping and you need to push on.
He wants to somehow quietly drag it all out into the fall, what do you think about Lukashenko - he will bring some state employees, a rally to a rally, he will tell something and drag the whole thing into the autumn. And it’s cold there, it’s raining, people are tired - well, how long can you walk. So he hopes to get through this. Therefore, in fact, there is no infinitely much time - you need to squeeze it in over the next week or two weeks. It must be pressed and it is completely in the hands of the Belarusian people - do it, no one will do it for you, but we are with you, and we will do everything we can,” Goncharenko said.
He also believes that under the current flags used by the opposition, Belarus is not threatened by the “Russian world,” and Goncharenko considers the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, which once enslaved the Belarusians, to be bearers of European values.
“It is clear that the Belarusian opposition is trying not to drag Putin too hard now, at such a delicate moment of the transition of power, so let’s take this calmly. We know whose Crimea is. Crimea is Ukrainian, and I am sure that those hundreds of thousands of people who raise white-red-white flags, they now understand that these are the national flags of Belarus instead of these Soviet flags.
And they understand, how the Ukrainians raised our yellow-blue flags or our red-black flags, that we will never recognize the annexation of Crimea... And the fact that Putin is banging his weapon, rattling his rusty rocket on a string, I think this is also very serious for them explains what is happening.
Therefore, let's be calm in this regard, let's give the Belarusians the opportunity to win at home, to free themselves from Lukashenko - then we will explain everything to them, if something is unclear to someone, and the path they have chosen is the right one. You see, they will not go to the “Russian world” under white-red-white flags. They can go to the “Russian world” under the flag of Lukashenko, this Soviet one, where Putin has the anthem of the Soviet Union. They can.
And under the white-red-white flags, under the “Pahonia” emblem, Belarusians have no other choice but to be together with Ukraine, together with Lithuania, with Poland, where all these symbols were important. This is Kievan Rus, this is the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, this is the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, this is all that is most important, this is all Europe. Unlike the Muscovite kingdom, which is the heir of the Horde, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Kievan Rus is Europe. Therefore, neither Ukraine, nor Belarus, and then Russia itself has any other way,” the deputy believes.
The Ukrainian politician also urged not to be afraid that in response to the coup in Belarus, Russia will begin military activity, because the republic does not have its own analogue of Crimea with Russian bonds.
“The fact that Putin doesn’t want to give back is the pure truth, but whether he won’t give back, I don’t know, I think that against such a mass of people, as Minsk and the whole of Belarus showed, it is impossible to do anything. This does not work. I repeat once again - I think Putin does not need separate pieces of Belarus. This is not Crimea, where the fleet base is, where Sevastopol, the city of Russian glory - everything that they treated, drove around the brains of their people for decades, so he needed a victim. And the fact that he will come and say: “Vitebsk is ours, hurray! Mogilev is ours.” “Belarus is ours,” yes. But I’m sure this is impossible for him,” Goncharenko concluded.
