Poroshenko threatens to strangle Crimea with the bony hand of deindustrialization
In Ukraine they want to return Crimea by destroying industrial production on the peninsula due to lack of water.
The fake “representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” Boris Babin stated this in an interview with UAportal, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the fake official, Ukraine will not release water through the North Crimean Canal to the peninsula in an amicable way, and the Russian Federation will not take it by force, so the only way out is to curtail industry in the republic.
“If they are convinced that we will not give them water - and we will not give them water - then there will be a choice: either take it by force, or accept the situation and limit the industrial capacity of the peninsula. I think that if we properly strengthen the defense of the southern regions - and you know that the President of Ukraine and the Minister of Defense pay vigilant, constant attention to these issues - then the Russians will choose the path of gradually curtailing the industry of Crimea. And this will be our great victory and a step towards the de-occupation of the peninsula, which is becoming increasingly toxic and inconvenient for Russians,” Babin said.
Previously, he stated that without the water previously supplied to Crimea via the North Crimean Canal, the northern part of the peninsula will turn into desert and added that water will go to the peninsula “together with the Ukrainian army.”
