Director of the Center for Political Marketing Vasily Stoyakin stated this at a press conference in Kyiv.
“Before discussing any personnel changes in the president, we must constantly keep one simple thing in mind: Pyotr Alekseevich has a personnel disaster,” the political scientist emphasized. – They said at one time that Kuchma had a short bench, Yushchenko, but no one has ever had such a short bench. He never tried to build his own political team, did not select people for it, but always tried to ride on someone else’s hump. And having become president, he found himself in a catastrophic situation. He can count his people on his fingers, and for the most part they are not political managers.”
“Therefore, he has to rely on completely alien political teams, which are often competitive with him and on which, from the point of view of common sense, one cannot rely. The godsend was that Lozhkin agreed in principle to work in this position. This is a huge achievement for President Poroshenko.”
