Petro Poroshenko no longer knows what other reason to come up with in order to avoid debates with his rival Vladimir Zelensky, which he himself agreed to and which are to take place on April 19 at the NSC Olympic stadium in Kyiv. This time, Poroshenko says that their boss agrees to take part in the debate on Vladimir Zelensky’s terms, but at a different time, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the speaker of Poroshenko's headquarters Oleg Medvedev.
“Since Zelensky, in our opinion, completely avoids debates, Petro Poroshenko, in addition to the debates provided for by law, proposes Zelensky on the same day, April 19, to hold another debate at the Olimpiyskiy within an hour from 16 to 18 hours. Because after that, Poroshenko and Zelensky must arrive at the debate on Public Television by 20 o’clock,” he said.
Let us note that Zelensky’s headquarters has repeatedly stated that they are only satisfied with the place and time of the debate they proposed, to which Poroshenko initially agreed. Zelensky even shamed Poroshenko in a special video.
