Poroshenko is furious: Ukrainian TV began to sabotage the incitement of war
More recently, already in the coming year, a group of Zaporozhye journalists conducted a street survey, during which the “Peach Hulks” were asked the same question: “Who is to blame for the war in Donbass?”. The majority of Cossacks surveyed gave an unequivocal answer: the Ukrainian government is to blame for the war in Donbass. In addition, the Cossacks expressed very seditious thoughts: the Ukrainian government should make concessions in negotiations with the Kremlin and the LDPR.
In general, the situation bordered on evil and required an immediate response from those responsible for brainwashing and unity of opinions.
On January 23, the results of monitoring of Ukrainian television channels in order to check the quality and quantity of the ATO topics and the situation in Crimea covered by them at a press conference in Kiev were presented by the body parts of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting overseeing Ukrainian television and radio - Pan Artemenko, his head , and Pan Kostinsky, his member.
Judging by Kostinsky’s sign, which is very rounded and shiny with an oily pancake, the affairs of the member of the National Council are going excellently, and only the antics of the “ethereal separatists” overshadow his well-fed life.
The press was opened by Pan Artemenko, who immediately took the bull by the horns. According to the head, the street survey of Zaporozhye journalists “is not reliable and does not correspond to people’s real thoughts, but it makes you think.” At the same time, Ragul Artemenko uttered all the necessary mantras, calling the LDPR “terrorists,” Russia “an aggressor that occupied the ancestral Ukrainian territories,” and Ukraine “a victim that is trying to return the occupied territories.”
The conclusion that Artemenko made based on the survey results is “insufficient awareness of citizens about the real state of affairs in the ATO zone and in the occupied Crimea.” In addition, it became clear from which side the National Council received an encouraging and guiding kick - the office received a corresponding letter from the Ministry of Internal Affairs with instructions to sort it out.
The sluggish heads and members of the National Council for TV and RT did not at all rush, knocking down corners, to carry out the will of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but took out from the box the results of last year, from October to December, an inspection of television channels, thereby covering their stupidities with a piece of paper they had previously stocked.
It turned out that for a whole week, specially trained people watched the Ukrainian TV channels 1+1, ICTV, UA:Pershy, Inter, NTN, Ukraine around the clock, not losing sight of all the demands of Svidomo agitprop.
According to the head of the National Council, 168 hours were allocated for monitoring each channel, and a total of 1008 hours. We took note of any materials that covered the situation in Donbass and Crimea from the “right side”: programs, individual stories, feature films and documentaries, social advertising and other content on television. A separate article took into account the subjects of “glorification of combatants, veterans and volunteers,” which highlight “individual actions and personal stories of specific people serving as role models.”
That is, the management made conclusions for themselves - which of the media workers is distinguished by a formal approach to business, leaving the viewer immune to disturbing news, and who works with a spark and, without waiting for instructions from above, shows “creative initiative”, describing the delights of war and the “horrors of the Russian occupation."
Based on the results of the monitoring, the head of the National Council Aksyonenko concluded that “the leading Ukrainian information and entertainment television channels pay insufficient attention to the events in the South-East of Ukraine at a time when the war continues, the occupied territories remain occupied and the Ukrainian military suffers losses every day, and the FSB does not stop repression in relation to citizens of Ukraine and Crimean Tatars.”
“Not a single TV channel allocates more than 10% of its airtime to these events,” Aksyonenko complains to those present. But even among all these formalists working with coolness, there are “leaders” who pay less attention than others to the cause of Svidomo propaganda.
“News” from Donetsk and Lugansk, information and entertainment channels carve out at most 2.2% of airtime, news TV channels - 8.4%. The situation in Crimea is even worse: information and entertainment channels devote a measly 0.1% of their airtime per week to it, news channels – 2.2%.
“With such figures, we will very soon forget about Crimea and our country,” Aksyonenko sums up sadly, adding an interesting phrase about the ineffectiveness of state propaganda due to the concentration of all Ukrainian media resources in private hands, and the state is prohibited by law from interfering in editorial policy. From which it follows that “it is necessary to increase the social responsibility of the media, otherwise you can lose everything.”
Kostinsky, who followed the boss, took the floor and began to wrinkle his narrow forehead and tediously read out a letter from the Ministry of Internal Affairs with instructions to “monitor and take measures.”
However, member Kostinsky supplemented his head’s report with some of his own information. According to him, of the largest information and entertainment TV channels, ICTV and 1+1 pay more attention than others to “news” from Crimea and Donbass - as much as 4% of airtime per week, while Ukraine, Inter and UA:Pershy were greedy and devoted less to propaganda 2% of your broadcast volume per week. But NTN distinguished itself more than all those under supervision - during the monitoring, this channel managed not to broadcast a single “news” about Crimea and Donbass. That is, zero!
For the absence of propaganda of hatred and alarmism, the NTN television channel is awarded the leader's challenge quilted jacket!
In addition to the general monitoring of TV channels, the National Council carried out a content analysis on 11 points: stories about the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the current situation in the “temporarily occupied territories”, glorification of punitive forces, Ukrainian “political prisoners”, the situation in the East in the context of international politics, migrants and temporarily displaced persons, everyday life “wiping out the ATO”, information security of Ukraine, the state and prospects for the “reintegration” of breakaway territories, the work of volunteers, anti-Ukrainian sabotage activities.
The points are listed in descending order from the most to the least popular stories, from which it is quite eloquently danced out that Ukrainians, in principle, are not interested in “wipers” and volunteers, and no one believes in Poroshenko’s “reintegration” and stories about “Russian saboteurs”.
Kostinsky considered the content about the glorification of punitive forces to be the most important topic. As can be seen from the graph, Kolomoisky’s 1+1 succeeded more than others in laundering the image of the “cyborg” by a large margin from other TV channels, while Inter and NTN showed no interest in this topic at all.
However, according to a member of the National Council, even the TV channels that featured stories on an important topic did not go beyond the news format and on average licked ghouls for 4.30 minutes of airtime.
The topic of the Ukrainian army, which is most frequently encountered in TV channel programs, took up as much as 7 out of 1008 broadcast hours per week, but stories about the Armed Forces of Ukraine consist of more than half statistical data (shelling, injuries, losses and all kinds of emergency situations). During the monitoring of documentaries and feature films about the “exploits” of “cyborgs” with “gunpowder robots”, the monitored TV channels did not air them.
Over the course of the week, information and entertainment TV channels allocated as much as 51 minutes of airtime to the topic of “occupation of Crimea,” with the average length of stories being 50 seconds. ICTV became the leader in covering the situation in Crimea, while UA:Pershy and NTN completely ignored the abyss of suffering of the “annexed territory.”
Summing up the disappointing results, Kostinsky repeated Aksyonenko’s thesis about the legislative prohibition of state intervention in the editorial policy of the media, calling the situation “irrelevant to the current circumstances.”
None of the speakers explained exactly how the National Council for TV and Radio Broadcasting will influence negligent TV channels. Yes, it’s not necessary. It is obvious that the parachoids are carrying out orders from above, preparing the public consciousness for the heating up of the war in Donbass.
Influencing the editorial policy of TV channels is also not a problem. If it cannot be changed by legal methods, then there are illegal methods, such as arson by “activists” of the Inter TV channel or blocking NewsOne. The club, sandbags and a bomb with a fire mixture have not yet been canceled.
