Poroshenko believes that Avakov is behind the Nazi march through Kyiv
The march of Ukrainian nationalists under the slogans of fighting the oligarchs and, in particular, Petro Poroshenko, is considered in the presidential office as an action that was secretly patronized by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov, who has long “broken pots” with the head of state.
Ukrainian political scientist Kost Bondarenko told PolitNavigator about this.
“The nationalists have demonstrated that they still have gunpowder in their flasks. From time to time they remind themselves that they exist and they have powers. I cannot say whether they are now working under Avakov, but the fact that now the relations between Poroshenko and Avakov’s group are far from ideal and tense can be seen with the naked eye. I don’t know whether Avakov “ordered” this march, but it is clear that the presidential administration believes in Avakov’s financing of such events,” the expert noted.
