The Russians need Maidan 3 in Ukraine to complete what they supposedly started in 2014.

About this on Facebook under the heading “Independence Day. God willing, not the last,” wrote Vadim Denisenko, a deputy of the outgoing Verkhovna Rada from the “Petro Poroshenko Bloc,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

He recalled that there was a statement by President Zelensky that Russia should not be allowed into the GXNUMX until Russia returns Crimea.

“But despite this statement from Zelensky, despite telephone conversations with Boris Johnson with gratitude from Zelensky that he does not want to allow Putin into the G-8, Putin’s press secretary officially says that for 100 days of the reign of our new president, Putin is making an exchange prisoners. Knowing the nature of Putin’s decision-making system, it is very difficult to imagine that everyone in the Kremlin has gone crazy and did not notice such statements unfriendly towards Russia or turned a blind eye to them. Unfortunately, it looks like there is more at stake than just a ritual step,” Denisenko noted.

In addition, he recalled the statement of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Lana Zerkal, who plainly says that it will not be possible to maintain sanctions against the Russian Federation.

“But it is impossible to imagine that now the US Congress will change its position towards Russia just like that. They can change their position only in one case - if Ukraine agrees to some kind of major deal where a lot of other states will be involved. We already signed a similar agreement once in Budapest,” the politician recalled.

In his opinion, Putin is trying to bring the matter to the collapse of Ukraine, so that “no one else in international law remembers Crimea.”

“This is his key goal, and talk of a return to the GXNUMX is a myth. Putin, by and large, doesn’t care about this. He already meets with everyone, he is pressured by future elections, and he completely controls the country. And he also knows how to wait,” says Denisenko

Speaking about Ukraine, he expressed concern that Kyiv is positioning itself as being ready to “fall into the trap of primitivism and one-time moves.”

“The principle of this one-step is as follows: we are giving you changes to the Constitution and Russian as a regional language, but you are lagging behind us. We already signed an agreement on Sevastopol once. This ended in war and loss of territory. Will society now swallow this conditional world? I'm sure yes.

First of all, due to the lack of serious and influential counter-elites who are ready to oppose this. And when we understand everything, the “people's Maidan” will no longer help. For one simple reason - the Russians need Maidan-3 in order to complete what they started in 2014 - to create a gray confederal buffer zone. What is the way out of the situation? Very simple. Think at least a few steps ahead,” Denisenko concluded.
