“The President of Ukraine, who himself needs a translator at many international meetings, strongly promotes the study of foreign languages. In particular, he proclaimed a course in support of the Go Global program.”
It is also reported that all AP employees will be tested to determine their level of English language proficiency.
“From October 1, 2015, knowledge of English is a mandatory requirement when appointing new employees to management positions in the APU. Employees who are already working in management positions will learn and improve their English until January 1, 2017 during working hours and free of charge,” - the message says.
English language proficiency will be assessed using the Cambridge English exam provided by Cambridge English Language Assessment.
