The four of us will gather, and we have a clear program of what we will do so that peace will finally come to the long-suffering land of Ukraine,” Petro Poroshenko said on the 112.Ukraine TV channel.
He emphasized that documents could be signed that would provide for “the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory, the withdrawal of heavy equipment and artillery, the disarmament of illegal armed groups and the adoption of a decision on the introduction of UN blue helmets.”
At the same time, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov did not confirm the information about Vladimir Putin’s participation in June in Normandy in events dedicated to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the landing of the anti-Hitler coalition troops. This was reported by the Russian Interfax.
“Not yet,” he said, answering the question whether the Russian President’s schedule includes a trip to Normandy at this time.
