Kyiv, January 28 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Cutting off electricity supplies to Crimea is indeed an effective way to put pressure on Russia, Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Poroshenko Bloc Ivan Vinnik said on the Vesti radio station.

“Ukraine has learned to find arguments that it can oppose to the economic pressure that the Russian Federation is now exerting,” he said.
“When coal supplies to Ukrainian thermal power plants stopped in December, Ukraine found an argument. It was decided to cut off supplies to the occupied territory of the Republic of Crimea, and three hours later coal arrived on the territory of Ukraine,” Vinnik said.
