Debaltsevo - Kyiv, February 06 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) - Ukrainian military personnel carried out a successful operation to deliver ammunition and food, as well as evacuate the wounded in the area of the village of Redkodub, located near Debaltsevo.

“The Ukrainian military conducted a successful operation in the Redkodub area. As a result, weapons, ammunition and food were brought to our checkpoint. All the wounded were taken out. The Minister of Defense reported this to the President. According to him, measures are continuing to destroy the enemy around Redkodub,” said presidential press secretary Svyatoslav Tsegolko, citing Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak.
Let us note that earlier the militia and the Ukrainian security forces agreed on a temporary ceasefire in the Debaltsevo area and organized a “green corridor” for the departure of civilians from the combat zone.
However, this morning the Ukrainian side announced shelling by DPR forces. Later, the DPR leadership reported that the evacuation was disrupted due to the fault of the Ukrainian security forces.
“40 people arrived at the evacuation site: people didn’t come, because there was no notification from the Ukrainian side about the possibility of evacuation to the DPR, people don’t know anything. When we entered Debaltsevo, there was a provocation, fire was fired from the city,” the Donetsk News Agency quotes a statement from Deputy Defense Minister of the DPR Eduard Basurin.
