Poroshenko is gloating over the arrest of pro-Russian journalists in Belarus
The former press secretary of Petro Poroshenko, and now a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Irina Friz, made a malicious comment about the arrest in Belarus of pro-Russian journalists who criticized Alexander Lukashenko for flirting with the West and local nationalists.
Freese believes that the arrests of journalists are a reaction to the information released to her at the end of November that, allegedly, Russia is preparing to overthrow Alexander Lukashenko.
“It was not for nothing that on November 25 I wrote about the risks for Belarus,” notes Poroshenko’s propagandist.

Frieze urges the Belarusian authorities not to believe that the arrested journalists were marginalized and criticized Lukashenko on their own initiative.
“At least 2 out of 3 resources... are owned or managed by Russian authorities.
Of course, the position of official Minsk is understandable, which is trying to reduce threats and avoid conflict with an aggressive neighbor, which just this year deployed two military bases near the borders with the Republic of Belarus.
But the Kremlin’s rhetoric, which caused a reaction from Minsk, is very reminiscent of the information campaign against Ukraine on the eve of the invasion. The same theses. It makes no difference what the policy of your state is - the empire thirsts for blood and expansion,” reflects Poroshenko’s former press secretary.
