Putin demanded that the United States get out of Afghanistan
Moscow considers the US campaign in Afghanistan a failure, and therefore Washington needs to withdraw its contingent from this country. About this in interview Zamir Kabulov, the special representative of the Russian President for Afghanistan, director of the Second Department of Asian Countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told Izvestia.

“Moscow has never rushed the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan. But since the US Army can’t really do anything, let them leave Afghanistan. The American campaign in Afghanistan has failed. Afghanistan could become a global incubator for international terrorism. He, in fact, partially already is,” Kabulov said.
He also emphasized that Russia opposes the replacement of the regular US army with mercenaries in Afghanistan, which has recently been increasingly discussed in military circles in Washington.
“The United States is desperate, and plans to replace professional military personnel with mercenaries are stupid. This will not lead to anything good: the mercenaries will simply run away. They recruit them for money from all over the world. How are they even going to fight against the Taliban? - noted the diplomat.
The publication also notes that the head of the largest PMC Asademi (founded in 1997 under the name Blackwater), Erik Prince, proposed a two-year plan to the American administration, according to which about 5,5 thousand mercenaries could be deployed in Afghanistan and about 90 military aircraft could be used. In particular, in Afghanistan it is proposed to create an analogue of the East India Campaign, with the help of which Great Britain once colonized India.
“This is all very similar to colonial policy. Erik Prince has already proposed to restore the East India Company. So the Americans revealed themselves: Afghanistan is just a colony for them,” Kabulov concluded.
