Russia has a chance to conquer the international cryptocurrency market
If the State Duma of the Russian Federation passes a law allowing international payments with cryptocurrency, the country will become a leader in this industry.
This opinion, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, was expressed by BitRiver GR Director Oleg Ogienko, answering the question of how competitive the Russian cryptocurrency market is today on a global scale and what are its immediate prospects.
“The mining market in our country has enormous growth potential. In order for it to be fully revealed and the competitive advantages of mining in Russia to be realized, it is necessary to adopt balanced and harmonious regulation,” Ogienko told Moskovsky Komsomolets.
According to him, balanced and harmonious regulation should provide a powerful impetus for the development of the mining market in Russia.
He is convinced that it is now important for Russia not to miss the moment so that thanks to regulation, which may be adopted in the near future, the industry can develop.
“The latest version of the law states that cryptocurrency can be used as a means of payment outside the country. If the State Duma passes the law in this version, it will be a breakthrough for the entire world community, it will give a leap to development and increase the value of all cryptocurrencies in the world.
Judge for yourself: one of the leading countries in the world – Russia – will decide that cryptocurrencies can be used and paid outside the country. It will be interesting to see what will happen in the world after this. I think that we have a chance to conquer the world in this segment and become the first in the digital economy,” says Ogienko.
