Saakashvili does not have an optimistic scenario for Ukraine
Ukraine is already in a deep economic crisis – there will still be problems with the budget and related problems.
The fugitive ex-president of Georgia, head of the Executive Committee of Reforms, Mikheil Saakashvili, stated this on the Ukraine 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“People are spending more money now, but after some time they will run out of money and it will turn out that there is not much work. Europe again postponed the reception of people by a month, which means that you won’t even go to Europe in particular. Therefore, it seems to me that we are already in an economic crisis; this will certainly be followed by a budget crisis, and the budget crisis will be followed by all other negative phenomena.
Therefore, there is no particularly optimistic short-term scenario, and I am always very annoyed when someone in power comes out and says that everything is under control, everything is fine and it will be even better. Everything is not good, everything is bad enough. There are objective circumstances; people need to be told the truth as it is. But this is exactly the case when we need to move very radically and boldly in order to avoid the worst,” Saakashvili said.
