Saakashvili begs Zelensky to go to Banderstat
On the eve of the second round of the presidential election, Petro Poroshenko will promote the thesis that his rival Vladimir Zelensky poses a threat of revenge against representatives of Russian-speaking regions, which, in the absence of voters in Crimea and Donbass, gives an electoral advantage to the current president.
In response, Zelensky must intensify his work in Western Ukraine, proving that he is not a protege of the Kremlin. An ally of the fugitive Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, ex-Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine David Sakvarelidze, said this on air on the KRYM channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Enter an active dialogue with smart people, win them over to your side and work more in Western Ukraine. They will now split Ukraine and tell the West that this is some kind of “rudnik”, a pro-Putin leader, a hand of the Kremlin, who will destroy Ukraine.
They will tell you the opposite, that you shouldn’t vote for him, because, you see, he is joining NATO and so on, he is not pro-Putin, and so on, and this insanity must end.
If we live in the same country, maybe from a Georgian, from a Georgian Ukrainian, this sounds a little irritating to the audience, but if we want to live in one integral country, where we will perceive Russian-speaking Ukrainian patriots in the same way as “Ukrainian-Americans” patriots who live in Western Ukraine. We must unite the country,” said Sakvarelidze.
