Director of the Agency for Social Communications Sergei Belashko announced this at a press conference in Kyiv. He said that on the street he picked up Poroshenko’s free newspaper “Solidarity” and read out a quote from the president from it: “Petro Poroshenko demands from law enforcement agencies a strict and principled investigation into everyone who became cramped on the mountain paths and lacked smuggled cigarettes.”

“In this way, criminals are given a clear signal: guys, you will sort things out among yourselves and carry this “double bass”, but only without noise and dust, and everything will be fine,” the political scientist noted. - So that there is enough for everyone and they can unfasten them to the top. At first we hear the governor’s reservation that it is necessary to redistribute smuggling flows legally. And here, in fact, is an appeal from the president about what this legal path of redistribution will look like. That is, those guys who do not agree to work quietly will be replaced with more flexible ones.”
