The President of Ukraine should be deprived of most of his powers, and this will become “protection from fools.”
Lawyer Elena Lukash stated this on air on the 112 Ukraine TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We had a fugitive president, a Maidan marauder president, a quarantine marauder president. You see how everything is changing dynamically. I am in favor of dramatically reducing the role of the president because we need foolproof protection.
We have one president more beautiful than the other. We have already reached the point where our president is a comedian. We live in a madhouse, in an eternal skit. Where else to fall next? And in order not to fall, you need to turn on foolproof protection and deprive this position of all powers except ritual ones - drink tea with the ambassadors, take pictures next to the flag,” the lawyer concluded.
