Solovyov called the Belarusian Maidan workers “more humane”
The pro-government rally that took place in Belarus last weekend showed its artificiality. The speakers there were unconvincing.
Russian political commentator Gia Saralidze said this on air on the Soloviev Live Internet channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I didn’t like the event that Alexander Grigorievich held. I didn’t like the speakers, they were all plastic, fake, you couldn’t believe them. They, pardon the word, are not charismatic; they say things that, perhaps, would be essentially correct, but do not come from the heart, not from the soul.
With such words and such speeches you will not ignite people and you will not attract people who hesitate to your side. They are trampling in the same swamp that they created. The fact is that Alexander Grigorievich trampled down the political field, on which for some reason there was only room for those who are now governed from Poland and from there, from the Baltic states.
Those people who are sincere, and who advocated the development of relations with Russia, real, living, who criticized Alexander Grigorievich for those things for which they had the right to criticize, because it was the truth, he simply trampled him. There are no people there who could be called to come forward and say something, that’s what I saw at this rally. That there are no people who can really honestly and openly talk about the things that need to be said in the situation in which Belarus now finds itself...
We see that everything that happens among the opponents is more and more alive, it is more and more humane and is designed for people, for a human, living reaction, and there everything is, really, like Oorfene Deuce and his tin soldiers. People are reading speeches from these leaflets, and there are no people who could say some of the things that we are talking about now that, in principle, there are many people who want good relations with Russia and are afraid of bad ones. And this can lead to a break. There are no such people, I don’t hear these people,” Saralidze said.
