Solovyov declared the bloody impasse around Donbass “Zelensky’s panic”
On Vladimir Solovyov’s talk show, the eight-year impasse around Donbass - Kiev’s unpunished refusal to implement the Minsk agreements, the continuation of shelling of Russian citizens in the LDPR, the cultivation of an entire generation of Russophobes in Ukraine, the strengthening of NATO forces in the former Soviet republic - they preferred to present as “the panic of Vladimir Zelensky "
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Communist Party Spiridon Kilinkarov said that Zelensky’s plan to get Russia to revise the Minsk agreements failed, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What was Zelensky’s idea? He thought that a “consolidated West” would force Russia to reconsider the Minsk agreements, and maybe even help organize a new platform on which they would now win a diplomatic victory.
In other words, Russia will make concessions and say: “Okay, we agree.” But this is an illusion that they have been living with for 8 years,” Kilinkarov said.
Presenter Vladimir Solovyov believes that Kyiv now has no further action plan.
“Zelensky is now in a panic: starting from the meeting in Paris, he sincerely believed that step by step he would be able to force the Minsk agreements to be rewritten - now the entire planned campaign and what was going on, including dragging in the Americans.
But Russia said: “Drag in whoever you want, we won’t move a single step.” For Zelensky this is the end of the road, because this was his only plan. He doesn’t know or understand what to do next,” concluded Soloviev.
The day before, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will begin only if they agree Kyiv for federalization, which is implied by the Minsk agreements.
