Kiev, April 06 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – The law planned for adoption in the Verkhovna Rada prohibiting Russian citizens from having a controlling stake in Ukrainian companies will hit, among other things, Russian businessman Konstantin Malofeev, whom the press previously called Igor Strelkov’s sponsor.

People’s Deputy from the “Radical Party” Igor Mosiychuk stated this on air on the Rada TV channel.

“First of all, this law concerns large Russian oligarchic owners in Ukraine. This is Grigorishin, Babakov - most of the regional power companies, Konstantin Malafeev. There is a unique situation here: a strategic enterprise in the Poltava region, which is the only one in Ukraine that produces baby food, belongs to a Russian oligarch. And this oligarch sponsors Girkin, who was his head of security, Borodai, who was a PR manager, and the Russian Orthodox Army. This is unacceptable,” Mosiychuk said.
