Zelensky’s supporters now have a chance to live in the shoes of anti-Maidanovites through personal experience.
Only after going through personal experience of the current persecution by the “gunpowder bots” will supporters of Zelensky and other right-wing candidates opposed to the Poroshenko regime understand how ex-regionals and opponents of the Maidan felt in 2014-2018, and in society they will begin to respect other people’s opinions.
This opinion was expressed on her social network page by former people’s deputy from the PR Elena Bondarenko.
“Oh, how the fans of Petro Poroshenko are burning! They absolutely sneeze at Zelensky’s fans. They call you all sorts of names, threaten you with executions, threaten you with a split in the country, are not shy in their expressions, insult you with the words “cattle, biomass, complete losers, stupid” and other unsightly characteristics.
But among those who are so vilified, there are many who are considered the intellectual, cultural, scientific, and sports elite of the country. And this elite, of course, is offended in response and writes on social networks that this is wrong, that this is not democracy at all.
Yes, my fish, this is not democracy. But I’ll be happy to remind you that the same thing happened before. Those who did not agree with the Yushchenko regime, then with the early Poroshenko regime, were called no less offensive words. Some were even sent to prison, some were killed, some were searched, others were dragged for interrogation. And this elite was indifferent to the norms. Because it didn’t concern them, because Yushchenko and the initial Poroshenko were their idol.
Therefore, it is very important for the future that now they too will be in the same “skin.” Only through personal experience. Only in this way will the majority of the country finally understand that democracy is when one’s choice or beliefs are RESPECTED, and not punished,” she wrote.
