Those who risk attacking Crimea have no chance - Shoigu
The grouping of troops in Crimea will not leave “a single chance” to an enemy who dares to attack the peninsula, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced this today at a visiting military collegium in Sevastopols.
“A unique interspecies group has been created and is constantly strengthening on the peninsula. Its modern high-tech weapons systems do not leave a single chance for a potential enemy who dares to encroach on the original Russian territory,” RIA Novosti quotes Shoigu as saying.
The minister also recalled that the fate of the entire country was decided more than once on the territory of Crimea for almost two and a half centuries.
“Crimea continues to play a vital role in ensuring the country’s military security today,” Shoigu said.
